Christina Tierno Named Consulting Magazine Rising Star

Washington, DC, March 10, 2017 — Consulting Magazine announced Arc Aspicio Design Thinking Practice Lead, Christina Tierno, as one of its 2017 Rising Stars of the Profession. Consulting Magazine’s Rising Stars of the Profession is an annual list of 35 up-and-comers in the consulting profession under the age of 35.

Christina supports Arc Aspicio’s disciplined strategic planning process over the past five years, she was critical to the company’s creation of the Arc Aspicio Strategy Innovation Lab (SILab) – a knowledge hub that includes our methods and accelerators, mission knowledge base, problem solving approaches, and provides access to our strategy and mission experts.

“I am very honored to be named as a Rising Star,” says Christina. “Arc Aspicio has opened up many great opportunities for me. Through my work here, I have found a passion for strategy, design thinking, and mission-critical consulting.”

 Christina leads one of the company’s five core strategic objectives on Design Thinking, a human-centered approach to problem solving. Recently, Christina participated as a sponsor and a judge in the University of Pennsylvania Spring 2017 Design Challenge, which had students use design thinking methods to develop innovative solutions to improve airport security at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).
