Culture Insight 2: Work, Lead, Act

This blog is part of a 2020 blog series on our company culture.

Work, Lead, Act. This is one of the five areas of Arc Aspicio’s culture that represents how we work every day for our clients  to change the world. To me, Work, Lead, Act means that we own our work, are relentless in execution, are resilient in the face of failure, and exhibit leadership and passion in all we do.

At Arc Aspicio, we do not just show up to punch a clock. We represent the values of our culture through our dedication to our client’s needs and our innovative actions to support mission requirements. Our clients know that we are dedicated and competent workers, not only because we have established capabilities and expertise in the homeland security space, but also because we understand the importance of their mission and the challenges they face in carrying it out. No task or deliverable is too small or too great, and all our work combines to provide actionable solutions that solve client needs and impact mission success.

The missions we support –  emergency preparedness, homeland security, law enforcement, etc. -– require our employees to adapt to the ever-changing environment and continue to carry out the needs of our clients through careful assessment and flawless execution. For example, our employees must master new technological advancements in the field to support more integrated mission and information sharing capabilities for a client.

This sentiment is also not exclusive to the work we do for our clients. We practice the elements of Work, Lead, and Act within the company as employees, and make sure to foster both excitement towards work and continually developing leadership skills at every level of our company from Junior Associates to Directors. For example, we set our new joiners up for success through our mentoring program, peer groups, and listening sessions.

Our program provides opportunities for professional growth and career progression including coaching, career management, and career development provide tangible results for our clients.

Through Work, Lead and Act, we build relationships with our clients by delivering what we promise and gain the credibility and trust to support our clients mission challenges while helping to solve the nation's toughest problems.
