Our Story in Action: We Put the Mission First for our Clients

At Arc Aspicio, we are driven by the mission of our clients. Our teams shine a laser on the mission as we help clients create strategies, design and innovate, and implement solutions to achieve results.

Combating human trafficking is an example of a complex and difficult mission. One client faced a monumental task, working with stakeholders from across the Federal government, to understand how the government identifies and serves human trafficking victims and investigates and prosecutes the perpetrators using data analytics. From Day One, our team immersed themselves in the mission, learning the ins and outs of the investigation process and the services for victims that Federal agencies and non-profits provide. We met with human trafficking survivors, investigators, victim services agencies, and members of the non-profit community.

It was clear to us that creating a comprehensive and valuable, data-driven report could not only inform the Federal Government of the trends, but also help them make decisions on where to invest valuable resources to support the mission.

Working collaboratively with mission experts (while becoming mission experts ourselves), we brought a data analysis and visualization and stakeholder engagement perspective, along with skills, best practices, research methods, and tools, to understand the full lifecycle of human trafficking from both a victim and a law enforcement point of view.

The passion for the mission and technical know-how enabled our team to create a compelling, first-of-its-kind analysis and report based on data from more than 20 separate Federal organizations with different focus areas. We did this in partnership with our client – taking their lead, and helping put their knowledge of the mission at the center of the project.

We used our experience to develop the data standards necessary to lay the foundation for the organization to grow into the Federal government’s clearinghouse for human trafficking information and increase the analytical capabilities of its staff. As a result, this project created a lasting impact by improving the government’s ability to analyze and combat human trafficking.

Our clients recognized the importance of the work to the human trafficking mission and the industry recognized the project with the GovCon Project of the Year Award. For us, it is rewarding to know that the information we created is helping the Government make critical decisions on where to invest resources to combat human trafficking.
