Arc Aspicio achieved its second Capability Maturity Model Integration Services (CMMI-SVC) Level 3 Certification on September 29, 2023. CMMI is a Model that is used to guide process improvement across projects, divisions, and organizations. Arc Aspicio uses CMMI, a process level improvement training and appraisal program recognized for Government and commercial clients, as an indicator of high-quality performance.
Arc Aspicio raised enough money to sponsor its newest search dog, Archie, the eleventh in its history of supporting the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation (SDF).

In just a few months, the company was able to obtain certification quickly based on the company’s established and disciplined quality standards and processes in managing the company and projects with the Federal government.

Arc Aspicio’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Lynn Ann Casey, testified before the U.S. House Committee on Small Business Subcommittee on Contracting and Infrastructure on Wednesday, October 13. The hearing “Growing the Small Business Supplier Base in Government Contracting” included statements from Casey and other small business owners on the challenges that small businesses have as the result of Category Management policies and practices.
The Small Business Administration (SBA) certified Arc Aspicio as an SBA-Certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) in January 2021. The SBA recently revamped the program to strengthen their oversight and maintain the integrity of the certification process.

In 2020, as the 20-year anniversary of the Trafficking in Persons Act closes, Arc Aspicio commits to ongoing strategic conversations to counter human trafficking in 2021.
In November 2019, facilitators from Arc Aspicio’s Strategy Innovation Lab (SILab) and from across the Government led a conversation with a group of 30 human trafficking professionals with experience in Federal and local law enforcement, victim service advocates and providers in Government and non-profit organizations, academia, private sector, and a human trafficking survivor. This strategic conversation centered around the trends in human trafficking – both to combat it and to prevent victimization now and in the future.
Washington, DC, May 8, 2020 — Arc Aspicio recently supported a virtual pitch practice with the Junior Achievement (JA) of Greater Washington (JAGW). Arc Aspicio supported the pitch practices as part of the JA Company program, an intensive after school program offering high school students the chance to put their ideas into action by launching and operating a real startup with other students under the guidance of business professionals.
Washington, DC, April 14, 2020 – Earlier this year, Arc Aspicio reached a major milestone in their support of National Disaster Search Dog Foundation (SDF) with $100,000 raised over the nine-year partnership. In addition, with this achievement, the company officially has sponsored a total of nine search dog and handler teams. The partnership includes fundraising and awareness assistance and periodic pro bono support.
