Arc Aspicio has a company-wide Quality Management System (QMS) that our certified project managers tailor to specific project and client needs to deliver high value services throughout a project lifecycle. The primary driving factor of our QMS is our relentless focus on the homeland security and intelligence mission. Mission results and needs are a key input to project plans. We establish measureable objectives to inspire a day-to-day focus on quality and client satisfaction on every project.

The two major inputs for our quality approach are:

  • Business Drivers which include mission needs, project objectives, client expectations, evolving Federal regulations, and company strategies
  • Industry Best Practices such as Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

Our QMS provides a framework for governing project, portfolio, and corporate quality activities. It enables us to constantly provide highly skilled people and repeatable processes to meet contract requirements and client expectations. Established processes for measuring and sharing knowledge contribute to a dedication to continuous improvement.

At the company level, our participation in the Malcolm Baldridge-inspired Senate Productivity and Quality Award (SPQA) Discovery program has helped us mature corporate strategic planning and operational processes and systems. We have a company-wide collaboration portal to share best practices among projects. We organize our projects into client mission-oriented portfolios to bring business and mission knowledge and expertise to every project. Portfolios are led by certified project managers with deep expertise in our client’s environment and mission.

At the project level, we have processes to monitor quality on a weekly basis, in close collaboration with our client. We have quarterly Executive Quality Reviews to monitor performance against contract objectives and evaluate the impact to mission performance. We conduct semi-annual Client Satisfaction Surveys to formally monitor and measure key success criteria and areas for improvement.

Our QMS is all about measurable results. We measure client satisfaction, project cost, schedule, and quality results, and the professional development of our workforce.

One size does not fit all for applying our QMS to our projects. We create real value when we combine technical expertise with mission input to develop a tailored management plan specific to each client's needs. The project level leverages an integrated approach to deliver quality. On-site project managers perform quality assurance and track corrective actions for constant monitoring. Executive reviews and company-wide quality monitoring enable our senior leadership to bring the right expertise to our projects to deliver great results.
