Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce Nominates Arc Aspicio for Good Business Awards

Arlington, VA, May 10, 2019 — Arc Aspicio is a nominee for the Greater Washington Good Business Awards, the premier event of the year for the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce. These awards recognize the leadership of individuals, businesses, and nonprofits that serve as champions for good in Greater Washington community.

“We are honored to be nominated for an award that recognizes Arc Aspicio’s commitment to our community,” said Lynn Ann Casey, Chief Executive Officer of Arc Aspicio. “I would like to thank our team for taking action on our community initiatives and for being leaders in social outreach.”

Arc Aspicio prioritizes social responsibility through its culture of gratitude and giving back. The company’s Community Involvement Strategy is a focal point for its collective social responsibility efforts. Each year, the Community Involvement Strategy provides a roadmap for community engagement events, identifying objectives to focus Arc Aspicio’s actions to make a significant impact. Through this strategy, the company empowers employees to provide hands-on support to the local community, assist with fundraising and awareness efforts, and develop impactful relationships.

This past year, the company held eight community outreach events, including Human Trafficking Awareness Day, Central Union Mission Shelter upkeep and maintenance, and fundraising happy hours for the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation. Employees helped collect and donate over 150 articles of professional clothing to support homeless veterans through the local Vietnam Veterans Association of America, and participated in Wreaths Across America’s annual wreath laying event to honor those who have served our country. In 2019, the company plans to continue their involvement and develop even stronger relationships within the Greater Washington area.

Arc Aspicio is one of 23 companies nominated as a small business. 600 business and community leaders will gather on June 7, 2019 to celebrate the award winners at the Good Business Awards Ceremony.
